Export pallets: The basis for your worldwide shipping
When goods are transported across national borders, compliance with the ISPM 15 standard (International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures No. 15) is mandatory. This standard, issued under the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC), regulates the treatment of wooden packaging to prevent the spread of pests.

ISPM 15 pallet: reliably protected against pests
In order to be approved as an ISPM 15 pallet for worldwide shipping, the wood must undergo heat treatment (HT). This involves heating the wood to at least 56 °C for 30 minutes.
As proof of this treatment, our kiln-dried IPPC pallets bear the IPPC symbol (a stylized ear of corn) as well as the registration number and the abbreviation HT (Heat Treatment).
IPPC stamping
Roeren HDL offers the necessary IPPC stamping for export for all types of pallets, including disposable and special pallets. Our suitability is checked annually by the North Rhine-Westphalia State Forestry and Timber Agency.
